Does Rakuten.com provide a 1099-K form?

IRS regulations added in 2011 require that Rakuten file a Form 1099-K for merchants who exceed $20,000 in unadjusted gross sales and 200 transactions in a calendar year.

If required, a hard copy of the 1099-K form will be mailed to the business address provided upon the original registration date of the merchant account.

The Form 1099-K will reflect the total gross sales of the orders shipped for the year. The gross sales figure includes sales taxes as well as Rakuten.com commissions or fees. Cancelled or unshipped orders are not included in the gross sales figure.
